Lorraine H. Keller, Ph.D. - CSO
During her more than 30 years of corporate and entrepreneurial experience in the life sciences, Dr. Keller has specialized in integrating scientific and business disciplines important to growing life sciences companies, including business strategy, technology assessment, regulatory affairs, competitive intelligence and intellectual property protection. She was employed for more than 18 years at Rohm and Haas Company where she held scientific and managerial positions in Biotechnology and Toxicology. After leaving Rohm and Haas, she co-founded and has held senior executive positions in four life sciences companies engaged in the development of a diversity of technologies, including gene and cell therapies, immunotherapeutic vaccines and medical devices. Dr. Keller was Cofounder and Vice President of Marketing and Communications for RheoGene Inc. She was Scientific CoFounder and Portfolio Manager for BioStrategy Partners, a regional nonprofit life sciences incubator, where she mentored early-stage life sciences companies and assisted University Technology Transfer professionals with scientific, business and market issues. She is a registered Patent Agent. Dr. Keller holds a Bachelor of Arts cum laude from Smith College with High Honors in Biological Sciences and received her doctorate in molecular biology from Cornell University. She did post-doctoral work at Boyce Thompson Institute for Plant Research and the USDA Plant, Soil and Nutrition Laboratory in Ithaca, NY.
